|Description:||Human Resources Assistant reports directly to the Human Resources Manager. Must have payroll experience. Knowledge of Quickbooks payroll applications.|

|Duties:||Assists the Human Resources Manager in all phases of the job activities. In conjunction with the HR Manager the HR Assistant is responsible for managing payroll, recruitment and hiring of potential employees, maintains all personnel records, and addresses all ongoing personnel needs of the employees. Records employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews or evaluations, and termination date and reason. Participates in all aspects of the recruitment process including telephone screenings, placement of employment ads, scheduling of interviews, etc. Processes employment applications and assists in other employment activities including background and reference checks. Updates and examines employee files, compiles data from personnel records and prepares reports. Compiles wages and records data for use in payroll processing. |

|Qualifications:||Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or technical school; or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. |
Strong computer skills and knowledge of QuickBooks software; Human Resource systems, and Microsoft Word Processing software.
Experience with OMRDD and not for profit a plus.
Demonstrates interpersonal skills, customer service, oral communication, and organizational support.
